Classmate Conversation with Jennifer Palacios

This week I had the pleasure of speaking to fellow student Jennifer Palacios. Jennifer is majoring in criminal justice and eventually wants to become a criminal investigator. On Jennifer’s free time she enjoys watching Netflix. The shows that Jennifer likes to watch Criminal Minds, Bob’s Burger, Friends, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and American Horror Story.

Jennifer has two dogs that she treats as if they are her own daughters. Her “daughters” are named Coco and Chloe. Chloe is a Maltese mixed with a toy poodle and Coco is a Schnauzer mixed with a Maltese.

Other than taking care of her dogs, Jennifer really enjoys reading. She has a huge library of books but doesn’t have enough time right now to read them all. Eventually Jennifer will read them all once school is over.

Jennifer is an annual Disneyland pass holder and is planning on going there for her birthday this November. She is a big fan and tries to go to Disneyland as much as she can. Jennifer also likes all of the Disney Movies and princesses. Jennifer loves Tim Burton’s work! Loves it!

When it comes to the seasons, Jennifer enjoys winter more than summer and spring. She isn’t too fond of warm weather. Another activity that Jennifer enjoys is she likes going to concerts. Her music genres that she listens to are rock and hip hop.

As for Jennifer’s interest in art she is a photographer and she likes to draw. Jennifer takes photos with a Polaroid camera and really admires that you cannot alter the photo once it has been taken.  Jennifer really likes art and in the future wants to get tattoos by several artists. Two of those artists are famous tattoo artists, Kat Von D and Hannah Pixie Snowdon Sykes. The third artist is her older brother.

For the question of the week, “What color activates you? What color calms you? “, Jennifer answered, “The colors that activate me are any type of pastel colors and colors that calm me are lilac and sea green.”

It was great getting to know Jennifer this week. She is a really nice girl. If I don’t keep in touch with her the rest of the semester I wish her the best of luck with her studies!
